MEPCO Residential Slab Rates 2026 (Tentative)
NEPRA has determined the 2026 electricity tariffs for XWDISCOs, including MEPCO, with a national average of approximately Rs. 33 per unit. Residential tariffs are applied via a slab system, with rates increasing as consumption rises. Protected residential consumers (under 100 units) have lower rates (Rs. 4.78–9.37), while unprotected consumers face higher rates.

- Minimum Billing: Minimum charge of Rs. 2000 per month applies to certain consumers even with zero consumption.
- Taxes & Surcharges: Rates are subject to additional taxes, surcharges, and fuel price adjustments (FPA).
- Note: Actual bill may vary based on FPA, taxes, and final government notifications.
